Two parking lots are available at Douala International Airport. The outdoor parking (334 places) and the underground parking (134 places) have a monthly and a yearly subscription plan for frequent travelers, staff working in the airport area and professionals:

Taxis

Taxis are available 24 hours a day at Douala International Airport. They are recognizable by their yellow color. Pricing must be negotiated with the driver before entering the vehicle. Douala being an extended city, the price and the duration of the ride (from 15 to 40mn) depend therefore on the distance to destination, on the road traffic, on the time and on the weather. The average price of the ride is 5000 FCFA .

Shuttles and buses

The SOCATUR public transport company runs a line between the airport and the city-center for 250 FCFA at random times.
Minibus shuttles set up by hotels run between the airport, the city center and tourist areas.
